REPUBLIC, M. Baebius Q.f. Tampilus, (c.137 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.72 grams), obv. helmeted head of Roma to left, TAMPIL behind, rev. Apollo in quadriga to right, holding bow and arrow, below ROMA, in exergue M BAEBI Q F, (S.-, Cr.236/1c, Syd.489). Toned, nearly very fine.
