Macedon, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), AE 19 (5.46 grams), Tarsus mint, issued 327-323 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. above bunch of grapes and **Q*, a club below, **ALEXANDROU* between, bow and bowcase below, (cf.S.6739, Price 3029, BMC 3029, SNG Cop.1058). Even dark patination, very fine/good very fine and a very scarce type.
