SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Antioch ad Orentem, Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), silver tetradrachm (14.00 grams), issued 69-79, obv. Vespasian laureate head to right, around AYTOKPATWP KAICAP CEBA [CTOCO UECPACIANOC], rev. eagle standing facing on club, wings spread, head to left, around ETOYC [NEOU IEROU B], (cf.S.736, Wruck 7). Off centred on the obverse, otherwise fine and rare.

The reverse legend indicates the second year of tribunician power and this correspoonds to A.D. 69-70.
