Sicily, Syracuse, (c.485-479 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.404 grams), obv. slow quadriga driven to right by male charioteer, Nike flying right crowning horses, rev. **SUPAKOSION around to right, head of Artemis-Arethusa to right, hair waved and turned up behind under diadem of beads, four dolphins around, (cf.S.913, Boehringer 104E (obv.48/rev.71E these dies = Sotheby O'Hagan 186, Randazzo Hoard 261). Toned, extremely fine and a very rare combination of dies, previously noted by the specimens known in the O'Hagan Collection and Randazzo hoards.

Boehringer notes only one specimen from these dies.
