ITALY, Calabria, Taras, (272-235 B.C.), silver stater, (6.43 grams), obv. naked boy rider crowning stationary horse to right, below on right KI over **NWN, above to left, AP monogram, beneath horse bearded mask, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, holding a kantharos, to right, **[T]APAS to right, (cf.S.374, Vl.862, SNG ANS 1192 same dies). Very fine.
