Bertram Cook born August 1888. Woolbuyer. Attested Adelaide 28 September 1914; embarked for overseas service 21 December 1914. After commissioning served in 4th Pioneer Battalion; Died 14 April 1961. Together with 2 hallmarked engraved trophies and a number of military badges, and a glazed and framed photograph of Gen. L. Morshead, glazed and framed photograph of recipient's adult daughter; typed personal narrative of 'Notes on a Trip from Suez Canal to Firing Line France', letter to his mother from Mudros Harbour dated 23 April 1915, copy of 'Le Miroir' a French pictorial magaizine featuring the Victory March in Paris July 1919, and AIF Form D.29 - Record of non-Military Employment, on a resettlement course in a French Wool company, and assorted military badges and buttons.
