Trio: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899 - two bars - Transvaal; South Africa 1902; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal. 41012 Tpr:E.G.McDiarmed Scottish Horse on first medals, 7293 Dvr G.G.McDiarmed 5 Bn A.I.F. on second and third medals. Impressed. Nearly extremely fine.
Gerald Graham McDiarmed. Born Wangaratta, Victoria, enlisted South Yarra, Victoria. He was a survivor of the sinking of HMAT A70 'Ballarat'. Together with Boer War and W.W.I. discharge certificates, dog tags, photo and research.
