Mamluk, al-Nasir Nasir al din Mohammed, third reign, (A.H. 709-741) (A.D. 1310-1341), gold dinar, (7.708 grams), probably Al Qahira mint (Cairo, Egypt), date off flan, obv. & rev. six lines of legend, (A.919, cf.Balog 176-177, the dies differ from those listed in Balog, M.1167). Small flan, as struck extremely fine and scarce.

Ex Spink & Son, London, with ticket, bought privately in 1979.
