Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D. 141), posthumous issue, AE dupondius or as, issued 147 at Rome mint, (8.486 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. around CONSE CRAIO, S C across field, Vesta standing to left at altar, (S.4652, RIC 1187, C.163). Attractive black patina, very fine.
