Antoninus Pius, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 145, (3.184 grams), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP, laureate head to right, rev. TR POT COS IIII, LIB IIII in exergue, Liberalitas standing left, holding vexillum and cornucopiae, (S.4089, RIC 155, RSC 490a); another (3.194 grams), obv. similar around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR PXV, rev. COS III around, Fortuna standing to right holding rudder on globe and cornucopiae, (cf.S.4073, RIC 205, RSC 267). Bright tone good very fine; dark tone good very fine. (2)
