Maximianus, (A.D. 286-308), gold aureus, issued 303-4, Nicomedia mint, obv. laureate head of Maximianus to right, around MAXIMIA NVS AVGVSTVS, rev. within wreath in four lines, XX/ MAXI/ MIAN/ I AVG/ SMN, (S.-, RIC 14, cf.C.702). As struck, extremely fine and very rare.
Slabbed by ICG as AU53 and described as ex Seventko Collection.
