Phoenicia, Tyre, (c.2nd century B.C. - 1st century A.D.), silver half shekel or didrachm, (6.832 grams), Tyre mint, issued 107-6 B.C., obv. laureate head of Melqarth beardless to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, carrying palm, standing on prow of ship, club to left, to left LK ( = 20 = 107-6 B.C.], to right monogram ZB, Phoenician letter between legs, around **TUROU IERAS [KAI A]SULOU*, (S.5921, cf.BMC 94 [ same year and symbols but a shekel], H.918 [$700 US]). Bright, well centred, good very fine and a very rare date, apparently unpublished.
