Palestine, Judaea, Second Revolt or Bar Cochba War, (A.D. 132-135), small bronze coinage, Group 3c, third coinage period, AE 18, (3.622 grams), undated issue of year 3 struck A.D. 134-5, obv. legend `For the Freedom of Jerusalem' bunch of grapes, rev. elongated palm tree of seven branches, around Hebrew legend `Shim`on', (S.5691, Mildenberg No.158, (obv. die 4, rev. die 8), AJC 81 [p.276, Pl.28], BMC 103 [same dies], SNG ANS -, H.739 [177]). Attractive dark green patina, extremely fine and very scarce.
