Gordian III, (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianii, Rome mint, issued 242-4 obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. SAECVLI FELICITAS around, Gordian standing to right holding globe and spear, (S.2460, RIC 216, RSC 319) (6); another 243-4, similar obverse, rev. SECVRITAS PVBLICA, Securitas standing to left holding sceptre left hand on column, (S.2458, RIC 151, RSC 327) (1); others 238-9 similar obverse, IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AVG, rev. VICTORIA AVG around Victory advancing to left holding wreath and palm, (S.2464, RIC 5, C.357) (3). A few with green surface oxidation, otherwise nearly fine - very fine. (10)
