GREAT BRITAIN, Ancient British round coal money from Kimmeridge Bay, Dorset, 47mm x 15 mm, and a copy of Moullin, Arthur D., Varia, Kimmeridge Coal Money, published article as a photocopy. Very fine with old tickets stack to back stating [Kimmeridge Coal Money and Colln Bloxam]. Fine and very rare.
Apparently some 600 were found with Roman pottery covering them at depths up to 2 feet below the surface.
