Aelia Flaccilla, wife of Theodosius I, (died A.D. 386), AE 2, Antioch mint, issued A.D. 383-386, (5.304 grams), obv. draped bust of Aelia Flaccilla to right, around AEL FLACCILLA AVG, rev. Victory seated right inscribing christogram on shield set on cippus, around SALVS REIPVBLICAE, in exergue ANT**G*, T to right of throne, (S.4192, RIC 61.2 [rare], C.4); another Antioch mint, with rev. Flaccilla standing facing, in exergue ANTE (S.4193, RIC 62 [scarce], C.6). Fine and rare. (2)
