Egypt, Alexandria, Diocletian, (A.D. 284-305), billon tetradrachm, year 3 = A.D. 287-288, (6.475 grams), obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust of Diocletian to right, around A K **G* OVA **DIOKLHTIAN*[OC C]EB, rev. ETOYC **G* around. star to left, Tyche standing to left, holding cornucopiae and rudder, (S.-, cf.BMC 2525, Milne 4842-3, cf.Koln 3232-4). Nearly extremely fine and a rare variant.
