Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.980 grams), uncertain mint around Chalcedon and Cius, issued before 281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, monogram to left of **PCA*, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, ANSMN 26, 564 [same obv. die], M.-, Thompson -). Good very fine and extremely rare, the symbols apparently unpublished.

A coin with good style bust for Alexander with a fine eye piercing forwards.
