Temple coinage, Pseudo-numismatic presentation pieces in imitation of Sher Shah round rupee, an gold mohur of Akbar, 16-18th century, round and square (2), issues in silver to billon metal, (M.4751, 4755 and another similar). Very fine. (3)
It seems likely that the primary purpose of these pieces was to act as pseudo monetary gifts at various marriage and religous celebrations.
