Stephen, (1135-1154), silver penny, Watford type local dies, issued c.1136-1145, BMC i, Mack 22k, London mint, obv. around +STIE[FNE...]; rev. GODR[IC:ON:LV..] (Godric of London), (S.1278, N.873). Off centred obverse, flattened for one third of the coin, otherwise very fine and rare.
