France Provincial, Provence, Jeanne of Naples, (1362-1382), franc a pied or reine d'or, (3.8 grams), issued after 1372, obv. standing figure of queen, RE DEI G IHR E T SICL IOANNA around, rev. CONETISA PROVINCIE ET FOLCACERII, cross with alternate lis and crown in angles, (cf.P dA 4009-4011 variant [p.327, Vol.II], Rolland 91 [p.233], 3rd type). Possibly has been mounted, otherwise very fine and very rare.
