Constans, (A.D. 337-340), AE Centenionalis, Alexandria mint, issued A.D. 348-350, (4.522 grams), obv. diademed bust draped and cuirassed of Constans to left, holding a globe, around D N CONSTA NS P F AVG, rev. emperor standing left holding standard, resting hand on shield, before him are two bound captives, around FEL TEMP REP ARATIO, in exergue ALEB, (S.3975, RIC 56). Attractive brown patina, extremely fine, scarce.
