Galerius Maximian, (A.D. 305-311), AE follis, Heraclea mint, issued A.D. 305-6, (9.440 grams), obv. laureate head of Galerius to right, around IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV L I ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, HT**D* in exergue, (cf.S.3720, RIC 24b). Attractive, with trace of silvering, nearly extremely fine.
