Diocletian, after abdication coinage, (A.D. 284-305), AE follis, Serdica mint, issued A.D. 305-6, (10.668 grams), obv. laureate bust in imperial mantle of Diocletian to right, holding olive branch and mappa, around D N DIOCLETIANO FELICISSIMO SEN AVG, rev. around PROVIDENTIA DEORVM QVIES AVGG, Providentia standing to right extending hand to Quies standing to left, holding branch and leaning on a sceptre, S F across the field, B between, .SM.SD. in exergue, (S.3543, RIC 15a). Attractive, with some silvering, good very fine/extremely fine.
