Domitian, (A.D. 81-96), silver cistophorus, Ephesus mint, issued A.D. 95, (10.558 grams), obv. laureate head of Domitian to right, around IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P XIIII IMP XXII, rev. around COS XVII CENS [P P P], legionary eagle between two standards, [G] below, (S.2716, RIC 223, RSC 94). Off centred reverse, weak legends in places, otherwise very fine and rare.
