Syria, Roman Province of Syria, after Seleucid kingdom of Philip Philadelphos, dated by Caesarean era, uncertain date of issued [off flan], c.31-17 B.C., silver tetradrachm, (14.002 grams), Antioch mint, obv. head of Philip to right, with diademed, fillet border, rev. Zeus seated to left, on throne holding Nike, ANT (Antioch) monogram to left, uncertain year in exergue, legends left and right **[BAS]IL[EWS] [FI]LIPPO[U] EPIFANOU[S] [F]ILADE[LFOU]*, (S.7215, cf.BMC 7, cf.RPC 4124-4149). Fine and scarce.
