Ex Spink Australia Sales 15 & 64 (lot 680, 2010). Owing to the abdication of Edward VIII a regular coinage with this new design could not be introduced in Australia until 1938. The London Mint prepared a few patterns for approval, we know of only six in private hands, probably less than ten were struck.
