Phoenicia, Tyre, (c.2nd century B.C. - 1st century A.D.), silver shekel or tetradrachm, (13.57 grams), Tyre mint, issued 92-1 B.C., obv. laureate head to right of the beardless Melqarth, rev. eagle standing to left, carrying palm, to r. delta, to left date EL = 35 (92-1 B.C.) above a club, (cf.BMC 221, cf.S.5918). Short on flan, weak in places, otherwise good very fine/fine.
