Group of Four, Order of the British Empire (Military); 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Pacific Star. VX 2038 Captain C.G.MacFarlan. All medals unnamed. Extremely fine.

Captain Colin Gibson MacFarlan M.B.E. 'As the Senior Intelligence Staff Officer at 2nd Australian Corps Headquarters, Captain MacFarlan was charged with organisation and maintenance of the unit, contribution to a comprehensive plan for co-ordination of air attacks with ground effort. This involved planning and organising many sources of information of enemy dispositions, collation and evaluation of a large quantity of information and selection of suitable targets for up to 4 squadrons of aircraft. Valuable results were achieved in the infliction of casualties ans destruction of enemy equipment and installations. He discharged most efficiently all duties of his post during a period of great operational activity'. Together with ribbon bars, RAAF sweetheart badge in sterling silver and diamante and Citation.
