C.T.Griffiths N.S.Wales M.R./ A.I.F., QSA & CAFD engraved; trio impressed, very fine.

Lieutenant Colonel Cyril Tracey Griffiths. Farmer and grazier. CMG 1918; OBE 3 June 1919; MID 1 June and 28 December 1917. CAFD. Born 16 August 1873. Married 1911 Eugenie, daughter of R.T. Kirby of Sydney. Educated private school England ; All Saints College Bathurst and Grammar School Sydney. Served in 2nd NSWMR, South African War 1901-02 (Queen's Medal with five clasps); European War 1916-1918 (Despatches, CMG, OBE.). Address 3 Kent Street, Waverley, Sydney NSW. Club: Imperial Service, Sydney. Died 28 July 1934. Together with set of miniatures; 5th ALH, 2 NSWMR & NSW Lancers Badges; rank badges and buttons; family signet seal and two pocket watches.
