Sultans of Delhi, Fakhr-D-Din Muhammad III bin Tughluq, (725-752 A.H., 1325-1351 A.D.), gold tankah, (10.76 grams), Delhi mint, dated 744, obv. five lines, within quatrefoil, (This dinar of the Khalifat was struck at Delhi in the year seven hundred and forty four). rev. three lines in centre (struck in the name of al-Mustakfi Gillah commander of the faithful, may God perpetuate his Khalifat), (Rangor 1218, Wright 491F, Hull 285). Very fine and rare.
