Vespasian, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issue of A.D. 72-73, (3.354 grams), obv. [IMP CAES] VESP AVG PM COS IIII, laureate head to right, rev. VICTORIA [AV]GVSTI, Victory advancing to right, holding palm and about to place wreath on trophy, (S.2317 [£80 VF], RIC 52, C.618). Bright, slightly short on flan, otherwise very fine or better and rare.
