TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP S C, around, Cklaudius seated left on curule chair with arms around, (S.1896 [£200 F], RIC 93 (Claudius), BMC 157, C.8); Antonia (Claudius's mother), (died A.D. 37), issued under Claudius 41-2, AE dupondius, (9.508 grams), obv. ANTONIA AVGVSTA, around bust to right, rev. as for Drusus, Claudius veiled and togate standing left, S C across field, (S.1902 [£125 F], RIC 92 (Claudius), C.6, CBN 143). First very good, second with rough surfaces, otherwise fine, both rare. (2)
