Macedon, kingdom of Alexander III (the Great), (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.46 grams), Babylon mint, issued c.311-305 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right with lion skin, rev. Zeus seated to left, eagle in outstretched hand, TI over double axe, MP in wreath below throne, (Price 3769, cf.S.6689). Nearly very fine.
