GROUP OF EIGHT: Order of the British Empire (OBE) (GVR) military officer's breast badge; 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal; British War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; Jubilee Medal 1935; Coronation Medal 1937. Lieut H.L.Quick R.A.N. on WWI trio, H.L.Quick R.A.N. on WWII medals. OBE and last two medals unnamed, Australia Service medal engraved, the others impressed. Very fine.

Capt Harold Leopold Quick, OBE., F.R.A.S., F.R.G.S., R.A.N., Hon. A.D.C., Gov.-Gen., 1922-45., former Dir. Naval Reserves 1939-46. Born 5 August 1882 Guernsey. Lieut R.A.N. 1913. Service included operations in Pacific 1914, with battle cruisers in North Sea 1915-16 on H.M.A.S. Australia. Died 11 December 1950. With research.
