TRIO. Distinguished Conduct Medal (GVR); British War Medal 1914-18; Meritorious Service Medal (GVR) 1290 Sjt/Capt. A.C.W. Kingston 48 Aust.Inf. Impressed. Very fine.

DCM. L.G.11 March 1920: '1290 Sgt. (now 2nd Lt.) A.C.W. Kingston, 48th Btn. For great gallantry and devotion to duty during the attack on the Hindenburg line outposts opposite Bellenglise, 20th-21st September, 1918. He supervised the bringing forward of rations and ammunition that were required for the attack. This had to be done at night time, when the enemy was shelling and bombing all roads incessantly.' MSM. L.G.18 January 1919: 'In recognition of valuable service rendered with the Armies in France and Flanders.'
