THRACE, Kingdom of, Seuthes III as king of the Odrysai, (c.324 B.C.), AE 20, (7.42 grams), uncertain mint, issued c.324 B.C., obv. laureate head of Zeus to right, rev. horseman cantering right, below a trace of a symbol, above **[S]EUQOU* between, (S.1725, SNG BMC 317-9, BMC 1-2 [P.1]). Attractive black patination, minor surface deposits, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
