ZEUGITANA, Carthage, (c.310-290 B.C.), electrum stater, (7.50 grams), obv. head of Tanit to left, crowned with wreath of corn, wearing earring with triple pendants and necklace, small pellet before necklace, dotted border, rev. free horse standing to right, two dots below exergue line, dotted border, (cf.S.6459, Jenkins Group V No.269, dies noted in Jenkins p.99, Pl.11, SNG Cop 136). Very fine and scarce.
