SYRIA, Coele Syria, Chalcis, Cleopatra VII, (51-30 B.C.), AE 17, (4.72 grams), Chalcis mint, issued year 6 = 32-31 B.C., obv. diademed bust of Cleopatra VII to right, trace of legend, rev. Nike advancing to right with palm all within wreath, a trace of legend around, (S.-; Sv.1888, RPC 4772, BMC 14, Pitchfork 173). Off centred, rough surfaces, otherwise very fine and rare.
