FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (2.744 grams), issued after 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Aeternitas or Providentia facing with veil blown out around, holding globe and hand on veil, around AETERNITAS, (cf.S.4574, BMC 373, RIC 351, RSC 32). Lightly toned, nearly extremely fine/good very fine.

The Reka-Devnia hoard contained 4158 coins of Faustina Senior with 498 of this variety.
