FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, (3.366 grams), issued after 147, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Ceres standing left holding corn-ears and long torch, around AVGV STA, (S.4582, BMC 408, RIC 358, RSC 93). Lightly toned, good very fine.

The Reka-Devnia hoard contained 4158 coins of Faustina Senior with 148 of this variety.
