BENGAL PRESIDENCY, Benares mint 1809 Coinage, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), with frozen Regnal Year 37, 1809 half pice, struck at Calcutta for Benares province, (Pr. 307, KM.24). Good very fine and very rare.
Ex. Wodak Collection $$ The Pridmore collection had a coin of this type, it being described in very fine condition and was rated as very rare.
