ISAAC II, (1185-1195), electrum aspron trachy, (scyphate), Constantinople mint, obv. Virgin enthroned facing wears nimbus, rev. facing figures of Archangel Michael with nimbate crowning the head of Isaac II on left, who holds cruciform sceptre and akakia, wearing divitision, (S.2002, Hendy Pl.20, 5-8). Large flan, extremely fine.
