TAURIC CHERSONESOS, Pantikapaion, Asander, as Archon, (c.47-43 B.C.), AE 27mm (14.89 g), obv. Young laureate head right, rev. Prow of galley left, trident right, above APXONTO**[S]*, below **ASANDROU*, (cf.S.-, MacDonald 193; Anohin 224, SNG BM Black Sea 964 [without countermark]). Very fine with dark green patina, very rare.
