SKYTHIA, Olbia, (c.437-410 B.C.), Cast AE 37mm, (29.85 g), obv. Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue, rev. Wheel with four spokes ('solar disk') with A-P-I-X in quarters, (S.1683, Anokhin 169, Karyshkovskij p. 463, 3, Frolova & Abramzon 160-9; SNG BM Black Sea 386; SNG Pushkin 43-6; SNG Stancomb -; Weber 2605). Good very fine, bronze highlights with dark patina, very rare.

It is claimed that approximately only 14 examples are known, 8 of which are in museums.
