ELIZABETH II, VIP presentation set, polished standard specimen coins, 1970, in maroon case. Nearly uncirculated and very rare. (7)

The normal issue is in a blue case, whereas this set is in a plush maroon case with card insert. The card has the New Zealand Coat of Arms at the top and reads, Royal Visit 1970, this presentaion set of New Zealand coins is one of 10 produced to commemorate the visit of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II, H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh, H.R.H. The Prince of Wales and H.R.H. Princess Anne to New Zealand in March 1970. Set No. eight.
