STAVERTON, John Cooper & Co's woollen mills, penny, 1811 as previous but different dies, no periods in obverse legend (Davis.8). Toned with underlying mint bloom, not as well struck as the previous, good extremely fine or nearly uncirculated and very rare.

Purchased from Spink in 1973 (and from F.S.Werner as before).
