ARNOLD, Davison and Hawksley, silver plated crown, 1791, fleece suspended from apple tree/Roman fasces with the axe, a spear and cap of Liberty, Arnold Works (D&H 1). Full silver plating still present either side, proof-like good extremely fine and extremely rare as such, one of the finest known.

Ex P. Deane Collection. Most of these tokens were lost or badly burnt when the cotton works were destroyed by fire in 1791.
