VALENTINIAN I, (A.D. 364-375), silver siliqua, Constantinople mint, (1.608 grams), obv. pearl-diademed bust of Valentinian to right, around DN VALENTINI ANVS PF AVG, rev. VOT V, in wreath, C P.A in exergue, (S.4097, RIC 13a, RSC 69). Grey tone slightly clipped, good very fine.

Ex Antiquarius, New Zealand, with their ticket, purchased in 1982.
