CHINA, Ch'ing Dynasty, Emperor Tai Tsu (1617-1627), round mother cash with square hole with Manchurian script, 'Abkai fulingga han jiha' (Money of Khan T'ien Ming) reign title Tien Ming, value one, four Manchurian characters around obverse, plain reverse, diameter 27mm, (7.0 grams), (cfSch.1355, TFP 2173). Good very fine and very rare.

Emperor T'ai Tsu was the Manchurian Khan Nurachu who in 1616 named himself the emperor of China thus introducing the last and greatest dynasty in China the Ch'ing dynasty.
